Not every workout needs to feel calm.
Some days, you need to hit something.
Hard.
There’s a kind of release that comes from movement that’s fast, reactive, and physical. Not measured reps. Not controlled sets. Just contact, timing, and follow-through.
That’s part of what makes tennis different.
You’re not just going through the motions. You’re reacting. Adjusting. Moving with intention. And every once in a while, you get the chance to fully commit to a shot — to swing without hesitation and send the ball exactly where you want it.
It’s physical, but it’s also mental.
You reset between points. You refocus. You stay present.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that, it stops feeling like a workout.
It becomes something else.
Something you needed more than you realized.
